If my schedule isn't as packed as a prime minister's, I feel inadequate. Although we've evolved, we're essentially still operating on the same basic human needs as our Stone Age ancestors, yet we live in a high-tech world that often feels at odds with those needs. It's a complex issue, but it feels as though we're not built for the constant pressure of this fast-paced world. Why do we flee to the beach every summer to unwind, as though we're seeking refuge in a more natural state? And why do our minds wander to places of fantasy and magic when we’re stuck waiting, as if longing for something more?
